SHAD top box on the BMW carrier?

I have the BMW carrier. If I remove the BMW base plate, will the standard plate that comes with the SHAD fit?

The boxes are really well priced but if I have to buy the whole bang shoot then buying a BM box will be cheaper.

Anyone that has fitted a SHAD that can help?
