Hi all,
A while back there was a discussion on small 12v compressors to take with on long rides. I picked a rather neat little one at Makro which has a pre-defined setting and stops when the correct pressure is reached. The auxiliary fuse on my 950 is 5A and the compressor SOMETIMES blows this fuse. This leads me to conclude that the 5A load is borderline as sometimes it does not blow.
Does anyone know if a 7A fuse will be safe to use. I'm a bit concerned that maybe the wiring is not up to it

Also is there a table somewhere the shows PSI and BAR ratings next to each other as the compressor works in PSI

BTW - the 950 has two auxiliary circuits which terminate under the front fairing. I worked out a neat way to tap into them and they now terminate in the little box on top of the tank with a cigarette lighter socket. Now I can plug in a GPS, cellphone or similar - works well
