Hi All.
Been riding bikes since 7... started on a Suzuki DS80... then a DR200... then a DR600S (still got it - needs a new clutch though).
Wife's been riding a Yamaha 125 since school.
We bought a CBR600RR in 2004 (for her), a CBR1000RR in 2005 (for me) - since we both love the thrill off acceleration. I have also taken a fancy in doing track days. Much safer ( no taxi’s, pot holes, children, dogs, etc) than trying to utilise the machine on a public road. 3 days after getting married, she high-sided the CBR600 on our way to Hermanus, wrote it off and cracked her ankle.
In December 2008, she settled on BMW F800GS... what a marvelous bike... so far it only has a top box and crash bars as extra.
Definitely getting me one of those as well – hopefully in the not too distant future. :drif:
