So this coal disciple took me right of my bike in July and then didn't hang around to see if anybody want to take his details. Luckily some people saw the accident and came to my aid.
Long story short, I fractured my tibial plateau, had to have two operations and now have some nice metal in my right knee, plate and eight screws. And a week in icu with pulmonary embolism.
Saw the dr yesterday and he said I can finally put some weight on the leg, starting off with 20%.
It has been nearly three months, R185k of hospital bills and unemployment, as I kind of need to be on the leg to trade my profession.
Not even to say what SWAMBO loves bikes at the moment.
All I can say is shit happens, but as this is my third and most serious accident on the bike, people are driving more with their heads up their arses.
