Ok, I belong to a club and they sometimes have these training weekends, its quite professionally run and the idea is that it doesn't cost you and arm and leg.
Sure they wont mind me placing their notice here, but they are having one of these training weekends on the 17th - 19th of October 2008 somewhere close to Hartebeesport.
In short the costs will be as follows:- (Per person)
R60.00 per night for camping with limited facilities (flushing toilets, hopefully hot water for showering and that's it)
R120 for the training.
Program is basically the same as the last two training days:
1) Balancing your bike
2) Bike control while off the bike (clutch and throttle control)
3) Standing on the bike and riding
4) Riding between cones (weight displacement)
5) Controlled skidding (braking)
6) Steep incline and decline riding
7) If the owner sticks to his promises some mud riding
8) Sand riding
So if there is some interest I will get you the organizers telephone numbers.
If the response is overwhelming then I am sure that they will limit numbers. ( will find out )
