We have started doing this set up on various builds.

Here you can see it nicely as the trailer is an open kayak trailer, whereas we usually fit this to enclosed builds.

On this specific job we fitted a removable "roof rack". Then added a 120w solar panel with 20 amp controller and a 105ah deep cycle battery. We housed the battery inside a lockable steel trunk that also has a 65w inverter for 220V items as well as a 12v power socket outlet.
