So, like father like son, my son now also got the itch and wants to sell his DRZ400E. ???
It's a 2005 model and apart from the normal wear marks, this bike is in really good condition, overall and mechanical. It was serviced by GLR Racing in Bloemfontein in January and apart from the normal service the following was done:
New fuel tap
New overflow and breather hoses
New wheel bearings and seals
New sprockets and chain
Valves checked and set
New clutch shaft oil seal
New Protaper bars and grips
Pirelli Scorpion tyres: Front still got lots of life, rear has about 50% left
New Rockstar sticker kit
And lots more which I can't remember, but I'll find the invoice. The service set me back R11 270.00. :-[
The bike runs like clockwork, engine is 100% and it has lots of power. Although my son is quite a bit lighter than me, my XR650L couldn't pull away from the DRZ at lower speeds. The bike is clean with no oil leaks.
His reason for selling is that he seems to be more and more interested in enduro type riding and he's looking for a 250cc two stroke.
Downside: this bike has no papers and is not licensed.
Price: R22 000.00 and I can deliver the bike in Bloemfontein, free of charge. :deal:
