My bike is for sale as I am looking to buy an Africa Twin .
I am the second owner , I have had the bike since 2800km .
The engine is good and she pulls well . The bike uses about +/-500ml oil between services ( 5000km )
I have done the following work on the bike
upgraded the front springs to progressive ( Le Cap )
upgraded the rear spring ( Le Cap )
relocated the choke and mirror ( Le Cap )
relocated the back number plate
Handle bar risers
Wider foot pegs ( Fastway )
Upgraded the bolts for the subframe
changed the battery to a sealed battery
Doo Hickey ( Le Cap )
upgraded the stator ( Le Cap )
Replaced the elephant ear hand guards with proper ones from Acerbis
Renthal handlebars
Radiator protection bar ( self made )
Cast Aluminum bash plate + original bash plate
The speedo has a crack in it from hitting a branch and there is some small scratches here and there from DS riding .
Included is the original tools for changing tyres , an IMS long range plastic tank ( never liked the look ) , home made rear rack and side stand cut off mechanism ( which I removed )
The bike tyres are +/- 70% left on the rear ( Mitas C02 stone ) , +/- 70% Mitas e07 front . I also have a e07 rear with 50% and a T63 front with 80% tread left which you can have ( I swop depending on conditions )
The bikes license is up to date till 2016
The Kms are currently 39561km , I ride the bike at least 4x per week to Knysna and back (15km each way ) so that will increase as time passes .
The bike is located in Harkerville between Plett andd Knysna and is kept undercover .
I would like to get R 28 500 which is a very good price for this bike .
