I'm selling the crashed 1150 GS I bought of the forum last year. I got sidetracked by something else, and will rather see this bike going to someone who will appreciate it, instead of it standing in my garage. Also, I want to use the money to buy a 350 V8 Chevy engine....
I had the forks straightened
Left hand tappet cover replaced
The bike is running well. Took it for a drive on the farm.
What needs to be done -
* Front subframe needs to be straightened, or another one bought from ACME or BRJ +- R1000
* Needs the big headlight, small one is 100%
* Needs a speedo and fuel gauge
* Needs the plastic dash/headlight frame. The screen also attaches to this part. Not sure what to call it.
* Needs new indicators and taillight
* Needs new mirrors - have the old ones, haven't checked if they can be fixed.
* Needs left hand handlebar switch unit
* Ding on fuel tank, would need a respray
That is about it. If I think of anything else, I will add it
The bike has 145 000 km on the odo
2001 non ABS. Single spark.
Bike still on the road, registered.
Has a Cowley pipe.
Bought a smoked screen of the forum a while back, included
I estimate another R5000 and this bike will be as good as new.
