I’m considering selling as I’ve bought something way more sedate, larger fuel capacity and longer service intervals.
I bought the bike from a fellow dog;

Mileage was said to be in the region of 10k, I’ve only done about 800km.
Description of work done by Torque Curve on the bike before I bought it;
Full engine service performed, including setting of valve clearances.
New wheel bearings
Serviced forks, new seals and oil
New O-ring chain and Renthal sprockets (14/50)
New clutch- and brake fluid
JD-jetting kit and JD air adjustment knob
New air filter
Serviced swing-arm bearings and shock pivots
New throttle cables
New steering head bearings
New coolant
I’ve done the following since receiving the bike;
-Had several cracks on the sub-frame welded up
-Repaired damage to swing-arm
-Replaced rear brake disc and brake pads
-Replaced chain torsioner
-Tidied up the plastics with fine sand paper and a heat gun
-Had a small stainless steel carrier frame fabricated and fitted
-Cleaned and de-rusted the spokes
-Made a bracket for the horn
-Straightened radiator fins
-Touched up bare spots on the frame with a spot of paint
Description;
The bike is in good shape overall, the engine runs very smoothly and starts at the touch of the button. There are a few scrapes and scratches but nothing excessive. I would like to think I’m not over-stating the condition which can be a very subjective view but I believe I have covered everything I can think of
Issues;
-2 smileys on the front rim but it has had wheel weights fitted and shows no ill effect
-The engine covers have been amateurishly painted and look a little kak especially on the gear lever side
-The radiator has been repaired before but seems to work ok and no leaks
-The front wheel nut has been dinged but is still usable
-A small hole on the rear of the seat
Price;
I would like R28,000 but will accept a more realistic R26k :biggrin:. This will include two spare sets of oil filters, an air-filter and a genu-whine Chinese KTM fanny pack
