Sadly, a change in circumstances and a lack of space, funds and inspiration is forcing me to let go of my Bakkie Project. I will swop it for any BMW or Triumph road bike of aboutR35,000 R30k? or similar value or make me an offer.
• It is based on a complete 1948 Chev Pickup. (worth R10k)
• I fitted a complete Jag suspension (bolted) front and rear using original Jag suspension mounting rubbers, also using a Jag power steering (worth about R3k)
• 5,7 L (350 CI) Chev V8 Engine with block hugger exhaust manifolds (worth R8k)
• Toyota Cressida 5 speed manual gearbox (worth about R3k)
• Complete set of brand new rims & tyres, 8 inch front, 10 inch rear with 295/50/15 BF Goodrich (worth R8k)
• Brand new imported Chrome grill and side decals from GM in the States (worth R3k)
• Complete new brake pipes, fuel pipe, discs skimmed, new radiator, Original gauges refurbished, complete body sandblasted and some body work started.
I did all the work myself and am willing to help the new owner …
