Solved - Brakes/ABS on 1150GSA not working - advice please

I had a controlled dismount in a little bit of mud this morning, in other words I fell over. No visible damage to the bike except for the fact that the brakes are no longer working and the ABS light keeps on flashing. The brakes will work if you pull the lever hard but the servo or pump or something is not working properly. Anybody have any ideas or advice what could be wrong?
