Bump
Race Dog
Not Having owned a 2T bike before I am trying to figure out what would be the best type of plug for a Beta REV3 270 2T trials bike under local, gauteng, conditions.
I am running the correct mix 66:1(full synthetic) as per the interweb and owners manual but still seem to be fouling plugs after 5 odd hours of riding. I suppose that that is not to bad considering that the motor never really gets a chance to "clean out" to any great degree.
Currently I am running NGK B7ES plugs but see on the net that most places are recommending BP5ES , BP6ES or BP7ES for the Rev3 270 bikes.
Will the "projected" tip make much of a difference when it comes to fouling?
Will a slightly "hotter" plug, say the BP6ES, help to clean easier?
I can live with the 5hr plug life but just wondering if a different plug would help the situation at all.
Thanks.....
