New spotlights – 2 different models – now stocked by Flying Brick Motorcycle Accessories…
We are now stocking and supplying the ‘J’ and ‘K’ spots, which have just been launched overseas, to fill a ‘gap’ in the existing spot offering.
They fit well in the ‘gap’ left between the existing conspicuity (be seen) spots (these are usually rated 900-1200 lumens), and the ultra-bright lighting (see AND be seen) spot, of which the popular model was the 3600 Lumen ultra-bright spot containing 4 CREEE LED’s…
So these 2 NEW spots are near identical to each other; same Billet-aluminium housing, same heat-sink type cooling fins, and the same 1700-1800 Lumen light output. Available in Black.
There was a ‘gap’ in the market between ultra-bright and ‘regular’; these fill that spot well.
Where they are different is:
‘J’ spot has a CLEAR opening over the CREE LED, and the rest of the lens has a diffuser. Its beam angle is 8 degrees, focused.
‘K’ spot has a EURO-BEAM, ('disperser' over the CREE LED) which complies with European regulations, and has a 25 degrees, more dispersed pattern.
Retail selling price of R949 per unit...
We have stock, and they are available for actual testing on our in-store lighting board.
(One useful feature of these spots is that the outer bezel can be unscrewed without tools, and an Orange lens can be fitted behind the bezel, I am not pronouncing on the legality of orange spots, but since many customers already doing this, just putting it out there...)
(And if you were wondering, YES, we do have a 'G' spot in our range, and people normally buy TWO G-spots at a time! )
Cheers
