Do you recall the story of the biker that perished in a head-on collision after he tried to pass through the middle of two oncoming mates? Only they weren't oncoming mates, but a cage. Back then there was nothing to distinguish a bike's light from car lights.

The point is that, on a bike, visibility is essential. Spots, in conjunction with a normal headlight, creates a unique pattern to make a biker visible and distinguish it from a "one eyed monster" cage or all the other cars in peak traffic.

New LED technology provides superior light to traditional headlights, lighting up the road ahead. It affords the opportunity to fit two additional lights as opposed to one only as fitted on some bikes.

Both these lights have been proven on DS bikes.

The 1000 Lumen Adventure Spots make for excellent daytime driving lights, and surpasses the light from stock headlights.
The classy 3600 Lumen 4-LED Spots' wide angle beam really lights up the road - and the sides of the road - to gain a clear vision of what is happening ahead. In traffic you cannot not be noticed.

Of course LEDs have to be dimmed at night for oncoming traffic as they act as brights, but as far as a safety feature is concerned, spots might be the best farkle you can fit.
