I come from a 650dakar riding experience straight into the new 800GS Adventure environment.
With my first trip on gravel to Groot Marico, the front felt quite "loose" and I was wondering if I should put steering dampers on.
Its not that I was riding on the back wheel only, due to the increase in power over the 650, but genuinly it moves too easy for my liking.
Imagine sand or loose rocks and you will have to build muscle to control the bike.
There are threads on the 800GS - 2013 - whereby the discussions suggested you rather change the suspension setup, but that was before the adventure came out.
What would the experts' opinions on this be.
Should I go for a damper, or rather check the front and rear shocks.
Any ideas would help.
Thanx.
