I'm planning on taking the 1200 GS to Stilbaai during the December holiday. I would like to explore the region with a pillion and don't mind spending a full day in the saddle.
Of course I would prefer to do that on as little tar as possible! (TKC 80 tyres)
Unfortunately I don't know that part of the country well.

It's a bit of a stretch (approx 175km) from Stilbaai to Seweweeks-Poort ... and then you have to ride Seweweeks-Poort in both directions ... so obviously it will be a long day.
I don't really mind the distance if the gravel roads are relatively good and the views spectacular.
Does anyone have some advise regarding the above ... or perhaps any other gravel routes in that region ... interesting places to stretch the legs ... etc?
