So I recently and unexpectedly found myself single after a relationship spanning 13 years. Serendipity kicked in and I landed up on a trip to meet some mates from Cape Town and East London riding through the Baviaans and Die Hel
Nothing like the open road to straighten out the kinks in one's head so packed the bike on the Thursday night and headed out straight from graft just after lunch on the Friday. 9 days and 4500 kays later I arrived back in Jozi a new man
Start of the trip was wet as hell and I had to skip the gravel and slab it to Clarens for my first stop-over.
Home for the evening. If you are ever in the area, Bokpoort is a great place to lay over. Camping, a moerse meal of all the beef beef soup and home made bread I could eat, plus a good few double Ballantynes only cost me 200Rhondts
