I bought a brand new Honda CBX250 in May '10 and have just done 39 000km.
Love camping and getting onto the dirt and I do keep up with fellow GS riders (on the gravel at a steady 90km/h fully loaded) !!!
My big question here is: Does it make sense to buy off road knobblys and have someone like Tracmac put them on ya bike on a Fri for the weekend and then on a Mon go back to road tyres?
The way I see it, tyre wear is tyre wear, if you stay on normal tyres you going to 'burn' tread off over the weekend, slicks or knobblys, no difference?
Does anyone else do this? Or am I just been retarded? :bueller:
