Hi all
When replacing the disck pads on my R1200GS I found that the the rear bolt that fastens the rear caliper was loose and that the thread of the threaded hole into which it fits was stripped . I had e helicoil inserted to rectify this . Question is how safe is it or should I replace the metal plate which houses the two holes (of which one is stripped) or must the whole caliper be replaced ?
Any ideas re costs involved and availability of part / parts needed would be appreciated
I would appreciate your inputs
Thanx
Stan
