I went for a 400km ride on Sunday with the bike. Stop for a smoke, and see the rear pillion footpeg is like 2mm away from falling on the ground. Circlip came loose, so the shaft came out. Chuck footpeg in topbox and off I go.
Stop at chow place, order food, smoke outside by the bike, saw the bigfoot on my sidestand with 2 nuts and bolts missing...
On my way back home, I feel something knock my left foot. Cant remember anything running across road or anything, so I ride for another 4km, and pull over. See the left crash bobbin bolt broke straight off in the frame, and it was the bobbin that fell on my foot. Bike never fell over, or had any kind of knock on the bobbin??
Monday I walk into garage, to take pic of licence disc for the Vin nr, to go order pillion peg parts at BMW. Then I saw, oh fook my licence disc was on that bobbin....
