I have ridden the area behind the old Pick n Pay Hyper (Bridgemead) plenty times on off road bikes, but never on a DS. I have not planned any specific route, but can feel our way around there. Dependant on how adventurous / daring the guys feel. The length of the ride will also depend on how long you want to ride, there are escape routes all over the place.There are miles of foot paths, gravel roads, rocky river beds, mountain climbs, sand tracks and of course the pan. I do not have any GPS tracks for you to sneak a peak at, so you will have to make your own.
I reckon we meet at the Bridgemead turn off, from Cape road at 08:00. There are no coffee shops or corner cafes, so you will need to take what ever drinks or eats you might want. So who's in?
