I was quite impressed when the previous owner of my bike told me he ran the original chain and sprockets for 25 000km.
Well, this is what happens when you don't bother to adjust the chain tension on your old, worn out piece of scrap chain that was supposed to be replaced LOOOONG ago........
Any suggestions on what to do? ???
Aluminium weld as far as you can go, and build up the machined part for the dust seal with pratley steel? (Put the old seal back and gooi the pratley around it where missing shoulder is where the seal goes)
