x: write off x country and shop for another one

bmw quoted me a stupid amount to fix up my bike, they said i can push the insurance not to write it off as there are many non-critical parts that don't have to be replaced, just some scratches basically. so they can bring it down.
- my bike is paid off. new tires. few other little extras.
- should i buy a new one again? i love this little bike :-\
- the only other bike i like enough to own is the 660 tenere but then i'll owe the bank again.
