Teerpad huis toe. CPT - PTA

Evening guys.

My wife and I are planning a trip from PTA, Lesotho, Koffiebaai,  Baviaans, hell, 7weekspoort, etc., to Cape town over two weeks for her sister's wedding.

However, after the wedding we have 2 days to get back to home in PTA. Clearly, this will be a 120km/h tar trip back.

Any suggestions on interesting routes that will avoid the mind-nimbing, soul-drenching, relationship-ending N1 home?
