A long, long, long time ago, the quest to explore the unknown was implanted into the hearts of 3 dogz, TwoOneFour, Wabbit and Cacher, and with their trusted steeds, a Huski 610, KLR650 and CTX200, they headed off to the unknown and sometimes changing world of the abandoned 4x4 track outside St Albans, Port Elizabeth.

Little to their prior knowledge, this morning Saturday 17 Apr, would be a day filled with learning lesson.  Just after their departure from “Out of Africa”, the first lesson was that of comaradi, as Wabbit’s chain came off.

Help, tools and a lot of know-how-knowledge was given by TwoOneFour and in no time the three adventurers set of into the unknown.

Down in the belly of the beast, the scenery was spectacular

but it came with a price, as there were a lot of jagged uphills, (more than downhills it seemed)

As well as the track of  some dangerous animals lurking around. (Maybe another leopard???)

A more treacherous and devious “animal”, was the monster known as “Rut”, as the invitation was given, “Come take a spectacular picture in me”.  Cacher accepted the challenge and started his approach, whilst TwoOneFour would take pictures and Wabbit kept his distance from the beast.

Rut started to clamp his filthy mouth around the CTX

But Cacher was quick out of the seat to save his legs

After a good few laughs, some huffing and puffing and helping knowledge from the other dogz, the CTX was released from the claws of Rut

The three friends went off into the rest of the bush to explore, were Rut once again clamped down on Cacher, but this time without any friendly invitation or rewards of awesome photos.  Once again, “One for All, and All for One” prevailed as all three dogz were stuck against a bit of an incline and almost into a deep rut.  After an hour or two, a VERY nice route was ridden where valuable lessons were learnt, especially the one of laughter and friendship, whilst not forgetting their feud with “Rut” and his close companion “Loose-Gravel-Uphill”

TwoOneFour, Wabbit and Cacher returned to “Out of Africa” on their trusted steeds

and smiled as they pondered on lessons learnt and wondered where the next adventure could be...

The End
