Hi all,
My KLR is having its first little issue after 43000km. It surges at high rev/high speed. Accelerates clean and strong through the revs at first but at high speed cruising it will surge/miss every now and again. Revs will drop by 500rpm to 1000rpm and then pick up again, almost as if it is quickly turned off and on again. Every surge/miss lasts about half a second. Once it starts it becomes more frequent. It has no problem at all at low speed below 100.
I have:
Flushed the tank
Checked the fuel tap vacuum
Checked and cleaned the WHOLE carb including all the pipes
Checked for shorting wires
Cleaned airfilter
Changed spark plug
Its driving me crazy. I know it is hard to diagnose issues without actually seeing the bike but I would greatly appreciate any suggestions on where I can look next.
