My Son asked me to help him check the needle rollers in his Dakar's swing arm.
The bolt would not move, We hit and hit, with the nut on to prevent the thread getting damaged.
That thing was not going any where.
Lots of Q20, still no luck.
In desperation I made two brackets and linked them with 16mm threaded bar.
On the nut side I used an Allen Key bolt as my pusher.
Every day for two weeks I would smack the nut side and tighten the threaded bar bolts.
It looked as if nothing was happening.
I then removed everything and started hitting the bolt, alternating from one side then the next.
With this rocking motion the bolt started moving.
In no time I had it out.

Surely there is an easier way. What would BMW have done?
