KTM 990 Adventure
As a 990 adventure noob, I have a few questions about the RON rating of the fuel one can use for an 990 adventure.

I find a bit odd that the 990 isn't design to operate with 93 RON.  ???

Sure, in the manual it is stated that in an emergency you can ride with one tank worth of 93 RON, but it supposedly #$%#^# the engine after a while. My concern is, is that many towns in SA (ok well, in Mpumalanga) don't have 95 RON. And I believe the further you go into Africa, the less likely it is you will also fin 95 RON at a petrol station.

So my questions are:

1) Can I actually use 93 RON on a regular basis, without worrying about the engine?
2) It is just my luck, or do most small towns actually have 95 RON petrol?
3) And just for curiosity, for those who have traveled into Africa with their 990 adventures, is the 95 RON requirement a problem?

Thanks  :thumleft:
