I am taking my wife and the 990R on their first trip. Day1 is an easy section of tar straight from CT to Citrusdal The Baths where we will overnight. This first section is to get my wife into the swing of things so i will take it easy on the tar and no gravel for the first day.
Day 2
We will head from The baths to Caledon via gravel. I have searched on google maps and noticed that we could turn right from the baths instead of taking left and heading back to the boring N7. Has anybody taken this route, is it possible, is it sand or should i not ask and do it the adventure way.
I have a attached the link to identify the route to which i am referring to. Another question is at my way point 3 i could turn left and stay in the mountains but it seems to be a dead end later on, am i correct or can a person go left there too and still end up at Portville? :deal:
I appreciate anybodies advice on the route as I don’t think my wife will like pushing on her first trip. :imaposer:
