Ok Guys,so a couple of us boys had a score to settle with a trip to the Northern Cape. As most of us run our own businesses,or work rather flexible hours it was decided that we would do a trip mid week,to miss the crowds and not over a school holiday... So dates were set for around the 2nd week of March.... Many planning(drinking) sessions later  and the departure date was looming... Truth be told that the original destination was going to be the Richterveld area with the park being the High point as the solitude and sheer remoteness is what we wanted to gain from the trip.... But with less than a week to go before departure in a phone call with the park staff,I mentioned that we were on Dual sports and well the door was firmly slammed shut... National park,No Bikes!.... Well,no worries it,s about the journey, not the destination,so we reckoned we would just wing it and ride to where ever! 8)

The Group was a diverse one, with a confirmed 7 going.... Ranging from 17 to 56 years of age... 5 of us on bikes, and at the last minute Pete(tinker) decided to take his son,Kyle along and test his 'New" to him 38 year old Land Rover... At first there was a little resistance to a support truck, but than it became clear that luggage and spares, could go in the truck,so all of a sudden the truck was in!

Hear are a couple of pics of the group....
