Day 1

Wellington to Calitzdorp. A drive over Du Toit kloof and along the Kwaggaskloof dam to Robertson. Route 62 to Montague and a nice technical section brings us to Anysberg. From here we scale the Rooiberg pass and get to our destination shortly afterwards. Camp is set and food prepared the African way!

Distance for the day 390 km

Day 2

Calitzdorp to Loxton. Through Groenfontein (The Scottish highlands look alike) and over the Swartberg pass to Prince Albert. The Molteno pass going through the Riverine Rabbit conservancy takes us to our end and famous fillet braai!

Distance for the day 350 km

Day 3

Loxton to Sutherland. A real zigzag route via many good gravel routes takes us to Williston, here at the “Mall” we have lunch on my account and make our way to our last overnight stop in Sutherland. A lecture on the many things we see in our Galaxy will keep us busy till our scrumptious meal is served..

Distance for the day 360 km

Day 4

Sutherland back to Wellington. The route leads us through the Moordenaars Karoo, the Witteberge, Touwsriver, Slanghoek and Bainskloof. These are but a few of the attractions on that days ride. Our customary farewell drink is served at the “Deck”

Distance for the day 370 km
