OK, if you've never seen one of these, good for you.
It's a Red Roman and here are the facts:
1. They are not spiders.
2. They are not scorpions.
3. Alive, they are slightly see-through and you can check out their organs and stuff.
4. They will chase movement and shade (ie: you and your shadow).
5. They inject a mild anasthetic whcih you may not even feel.
6. They will eat your flesh with four opposing knife-like mandibles.
7. They get much bigger than this.
7. They suck !!!!
This is a dead one I found in Groblaarsdal, Northern Cape. Not bumped into a live on yet.
