This Year’s S-E-R-I-O-U-S SPRING S-P-E-C-I-A-L…
A year or two back, we did a deep special, on Rockfox Pannier Racks - for MOST Adventure bikes - COMBINED with a set of Waterproof pannier bags,, AND INNER bags, for just R4999 incl vat!
(the USUAL selling price was R5765, meaning a REAL saving of R770!)
(sold separately, the Pannier BAGS are now R3300 incl per set, and the Pannier RACKS R2465 per set).
! …But wait - just like those annoying ads we all sometimes hear! - but wait – there’s more…!
Rockfox has agreed to supply a welded-in fuel tab on each pannier rack, both left-side and right-side…
This fuel tab, as we call it, has a few uses:
1. Primarily, it allows the quick attachment (with just 2 bolts) of a Flying Brick fuel MOUNT…
2. …which in turn allows for the carrying of 5L (per side) of fuel, or water, or 1 x fuel, 1 x water…
3. If NOT attaching fuel cell, the fuel tab further helps to prevent a SMALL bag from ‘bulging through’ and touching say a hot silencer.
4. Finally, the SLOTS in the fuel tab allow for attaching a TOOL TUBE on the INSIDE of the pannier rack (check for swing-arm clearance when fitting)
So, the COMBO-special, powder-coated pannier racks, WITH the in-built fuel-cell-ready tabs, which are also too-tube ready, AND then a set of Rockfox waterproof pannier bags, WITH inner bags.
In addition, these soft pannier bags come supplied with a plastic-coated stainless-steel locking cable, meaning they can be locked against opportunistic theft (or contents, and the bags themselves!
