First visit to my son in Florida, first ride on a Harley, first drive on the 'wrong' side of the road - too many firsts to mention...
As a surprise my son had booked 2 Harleys and we took the 300 or so mile ride up to Daytona bike week. Must say the Fat Boy is fantastic to cruise the highways with and the trip was a real pleasure.
Bike week in Daytona was mindblowing !!
400,000 bikers for the week who spent in excess of $ 300 million - bikes, trikes, the weird and the wonderful - an awesome sight...
Returned via Cape Canavarell to see the shuttle landing but missed it by an hour or so - got the pic though.
Entered the draw for the custom chopper, didn't win but managed second consolation prize of riding on the Budweiser Clydesdales in the opening parade for 2012 Bike Week so - same time, same place next year...
