Hi guys,
The bolt where the subframe mounts on the main frame (under the tank) has sheared of nice and flush so that I can't get it out without drilling from the other side. It's not the standard bolt, but the longer one supplied with my SW-Motech crash bars for it's top mounting.
I've heard of this drill-through mod before, where you drill right through the main frame and just fit a single bolt with a nut on the other side. Has anyone done it before? What size drill bit and diameter bolt should I use? I will try and find a 10.8 grade bolt as this is the second 8.8 that sheared off.
Any advice?
