With the new Pro Taper bar came a handy crossbar that allows me to easily mount my GPS on. No need for RAM balls etc.
Latest addition to the KLR is the Touratech mount for Garmin Quest, I saw it sitting there all lonely in the shop when I went to pick up my Richa boots from Bla Bla.
Its the non locking one and simply mounts on the crossbar.
I dont trust the locking one, I wont leave a R6k piece of kit out on the bike anyway. Plus the impulse buy decided for me
It has full damping neoprene rubber mounts and will stop the wear that starting to show on my Quest.
Hard wired power adapter to follow.
It mounts tight and holds the unit very tightly. I'm happy.
