The Track School chapter of the CMA held a track day at Midvaal Raceway on 6 October. I know that this is a track orientated event, however it is also applicable to all types of bikes that make use of tarred roads, hence this post.
The training they offered included a riders breifing session, a couple of classroom sessions and then plenty of track sessions. All the sessions on the track were done under close scrutiy of some very experienced instructors (they normally instruct on behalf of S A Biking Acadamy) and they constantly coached the participants of the track day on and off the track.
During this Track School we also had the privilage to instruct the motorcycle borne response team of the Netcare911 emergency services. They were reformed a while ago by Netcare911 to ensure shortened response times to emergencies in cases where heavy taiffic might be encountered.
Here are some pics.
