1979 Honda CB400T
I have a good condition and unmolested Vespa PX200E that I would like to swap/trade for something else interesting on two or four wheels. I don't want to sell, I'm not in need of cash, I'm in need of that next interesting piece of motorcycle or motorcar nostalgia or history or just something interesting.
The Vespa is in my name with all documents and licensed on the road. Everything works on it. From all light settings to indicators, hooter, fuel level indicator, fuel low warning light and brake light. This includes the original elestart, although it is, like with all Vespas, very temperamental. It is Italian after all. I have replaced the mirrors to new Vespa chrome units (will post updated pics with new mirrors), have replaced the 2T oil inspection glass with an original part from Piaggio and have serviced the scooter not 300km ago including a new air filter, plug and oil and replaced the 118 jet to a 122 unit. It now pulls crisp all through the rev range. It also has 3 new tyres (Michelin S83) with new tubes. I use it at least two to three times a week.
The blue is not the original colour and there are some nicks and scrapes where the old paint is showing through. Also if the tank is very full, it sweats some petrol from the gasket of the fuel level unit.
