Puppy
Morning all and sundry..
I bought a 26l Trail Boss compressor pump to keep on my bike for the odd occasion I might have to pump the tyres. On my GS I have two Hella female plugs to run accesories off. The pump has the normal "cigarette" fitting that does not fit into the Hella plug hence I need to use an adaptor.
My question is as follows: Once I plug the above all together to run the pump it just kicks in and then goes dead? If I plug it into my car's outlet it runs bedonnerd!!
Could the reason why it does not want to run off the bike be that there is loss of amperage from the Hella plug through the adaptor to the pump's plug?
any suggestions. can obviously remove the fitted plug and fit a Hella male plug but then warranty issues kick in.....
