I had just bought my KLR and we had a trip planned for the Transkei so decided that the steed had to go with.
All was well until Saturday 20th came and it was time for our departure, it was bucketing, but there was no way I was backing out of this one. The rain stopped enough for me to get to Grahamstown but after that the heavens opened.
I was flippen freezing, waterproof clothing and all...
We had to stop for a bit as a vehicle had lost control and gone over the edge of a cliff and the tow trucks were pulling it up
Finally got to our destination - Hole in the Wall

We took a ride from Coffe Bay to Port St. Johns. In our travels we crossed an amazing bridge on the Mdumbi river, had the fish eagles flying above us and everything

Arriving home after a long ride, seriously dusty (snot + dust + wind = cement)
