SUNDAY there is a Wesbank Super Series Event planned at Kyalami. Due to the deaths of Warren and Marco at the previous event, the families (and organisers?) have agreed to allow the following to take place on that morning:
"We are saluting Marco & Warren at Kyalami in the traditional way on Saturday morning at 7:30. We travel slowly on our bikes the reverse way around the track (helmets off) and stop at the mineshaft, rev our bikes and then cut them off in an instant for a minute of silence and then carry on slowly to turn one where we offer the same salute to Warren. Regret no cars on track. The salute has been sanctioned by the next of kin. Please spread the word far and wide."
Those coming from Pretoria, we will leave from the Shell Ultra City (STEERS) at 06:45.
