Triump Tiger 800XC vs BMW F800GS

I have been considering for a while now to upgrade my 650GS to a 800GS, but always felt it might be a bit too high for me. And suddenly hubby suggests that I maybe look at the Triumph Tiger 800XC.

I really like the looks of the bike, but I thought I would get some opinions from the Wilddogs on how the two bikes compare in terms of performance, etc?
