Triumph & SYM?

So I see in my Facebook feed.

Triumph SA changes name to SYM Scooters SA. Are Sym the new backers? Any confirmation?

I had a good laugh at all the picture of Ducati's with tassles on their handlebars, when it was rumoured that Harley was buying out Ducati. I'm not looking forward to seeing every Triumph with delivery boxes attached.  :biggrin:
