Here's some pics from my trip to Sutherland and back today, I wanted to do it yesterday but I felt a bit crappy(gastro), so I did it today which was not the best day for biking in the Karoo - I think it was about 40deg at the bottom of the pass. The total distance is 520km.
The picture of the antelope look shaky I know, but it was done while doing about 40-50 kmh with the little animal running next to me - after opening my tank bag with gloved left hand, removing camera and fiddling with on/off button, switching camera to right hand(pulled the clutch in with left hand not to loose speed) and fired of a few shots. The shot is a bit un-dramatic, but it was a great few seconds that would have captured brilliantly with a helmet cam.
