I need some advice... I need to adjust/tune the opening & closing position of my stepper motor because it was removed to be cleaned.
I have the dealertool software and 16-pin cable which does not seem to work with TuneECU.
I have also borrowed a friends Hex-USB-Can(Intelligent Dual-K Interface) which he uses on his Volkswagen Polo. This is also a 16-pin cable but no matter what I do, I can not get TuneECU to connect to either of the cables.
From what I gather there are different chipsets in each cable and therefore the reason why it does not want to connect.
I normally would not mind to order the correct cable from overseas but in this case I cant wait 3-4 weeks for delivery.
Can anyone please advise or even lend me the correct cable just to reset the above. The bike in question is 2012 Triumph Tiger 800xc.
