I have gone through the horrible time consuming task of finding the perfect tyre for my bike and most importantly, riding style. This has brought me to a point of frustration when viewing tyre milage on different forums. The milage differ hugely from one forum to another, mainly because of riding styles that differs.
I am starting a tyre survey and selection aid in order to save some time when choosing a new tyre for your bike. Below you will find the spreadsheet that I have compiled.
Now the most important task of this whole exercise to to get the info I need from YOU! If you would like to assist please reply with the following details :
Riding style :
Tyre :
Tyre size :
Km's :
Bike :
RIDING STYLE CITERIA :
* Hardly backwheel spin or sudden acceleration
** Every now and again harder on the throttle
*** Like to mess around
**** Open throttle all the way
***** My front wheel doesn't touch the ground, ever!
I will update my spreadsheet on a regular basis and post a link on the forum. If you have info to add, let me know and I will add it if relevant.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SURVEY IS BASED ON 50/50 AND MORE AGGRESSIVE TYPE TYRES.
