Hi guys, hope one of you can point me in the right direction.
I have a 2009 R1200GS (30k km) and recently it seems like idle is not as smooth as it used to be. It also kind of surges at low speed (1500 rpm) in first gear or actually any gear. It is almost like it is choking. When pulling away I have to make sure that I add enough throttle or it will choke.
I had it at Donford last week and asked them to ride the bike and look at it. They said they fixed it (synced throttles) but it still feels the same. I might also be mistaken but it seems like fuel consumption also increased by about 0.5 l/100km for the same speed since the problem.
It is almost as if it is running too rich but that is not possible with FI?
