* SO HERE I AM BACK AGAIN, POSTING MY DR UP FOR SALE. Everytime I did this I had a buyer and I withdrew the sale. This time I am letting go and I am moving on. So ja, My DR is for sale.
Below is the exact post I made just over a year ago and I will use the same post again.....with a few updated bits.

UPDATE PHOTOS ON PAGE 2 & 3

Things that have changed :
- She was in storage for over a year. Took her out, gave her a nice service(Oil + Filter + O-rings + sparkplugs @44355km), started without issues and did a +-1700km trip to Boesmanland and back without skipping a beat. Mileage is 46135km on the clock.

Anyone who is keen for a special Christmas present, contact me directly and we can chat.  :thumleft:
Front and rear tyres needs replacing, we can work this into the sale price  :ricky:

This is a serious sale, I need to urgently sell this exceptional bike!
PRICE : R55 000 R50 000

ORIGINAL SALE POST STARTS HERE
If you are a serious buyer, make me a realistic offer.
2011 DR650 SE.
Around 43 000km on the clock.
Owned her for last 5 years.
Meticulously maintained and very well looked after.
Always serviced between 3000 – 4000 km intervals with new oil and filter.
Twin Air air filters have been used most of her life and been changed and cleaned on a much more regular basis than the service intervals.
Spark plugs been changed regularly. Valves checked timely. Swingarm bearings greased regularly.
Has been to Superfoxi roughly 3 or 4 times for suspension service.
I have done a lot of long distance trips with her and she does show some signs of being “well travelled”. I’ve had some falls, never crashes. Never something that was detrimental to her performance, always just some cosmetics.
Tyres currently on the bike is Dunlop D606 on rear and Pirelli MT21 Rallycross on the front.
Very recently did full service, collect and ride.

Here is a list of all the extras / things I have done to the bike in the past years.
- Plastics been sprayed Matt Black, except rear fender (still original gloss black). Also changer the front fender to a Yamaha YZ250. Front headlight fender is a template of a          Honda XR made out of fiberglass.
- Super bright HID LED headlight fitted. 3600 lumens
- Pro Taper KX HI handlebar fitted
- Foldable oval mirrors
- 12V handlebar USB mount fitted. 2x ports
- WARP-9 3 finger brake and clutch levers fitted. They are really superb.
- Cycra aluminium hand guards fitted
- Acerbis long range tank fitted. 5.3 Gallon tank
- Customized seat with extra padding and made a bit wider
- Aftermarket smaller indicators installed (one currently missing orange cover)
- PSP bash plate and luggage rack
- WARP-9 shift lever
- Pivot Pegz (stainless steel) with lowered footpeg brackets
- FMF Powercore 4 exhaust and stainless FMF powerbomb header. Do have the quiet insert for the exhaust as well
- Procycle dynojet kit. Been to Superbike solutions twice for tuneups.
- Rear suspension spring upgraded to 7.5kg/nm – done by Superfoxi
- WARP 9 rear chain guard - currently not on bike
- Engine case savers
- Tail tidy, small aluminium bracket
- Rear brake master cylinder guard
- Moose Ball bearing bottom chain roller
- Rear crash bars/luggage racks
- Remote choke cable. Sits next to the engine. One on handlebar sucks
- Countershaft seal retainer
- Oil filter magnet
- Motobat battery, about 2 years old
- Twin Air air filters ( x2 ) always used and aftermarket fabric secondary breather filter installed
- Airbox has been cut open on the top according to the dynojet instructions
- Sidestand switch disabled and removed
- “Clutch start” bypassed
- New rear wheel sprocket carrier hub plus new cush drive rubbers. Bearing broke on a trip and did some damage on original hub. Best option was to replace with new one.

Extras that has not been installed yet :
- Vapor Trail Tech
- WARP 9 Starter motor cover
- Compact kit to bypass oil cooler if broken in bush and need to escape
- I am sure there is some more but cannot remember now
- 14t front sprocket and retainer
-      Front brake pads

Also what will come with the bike :
-      Valve adjustment tools for DR 650
- Original fueltank and petcock
- Some plastics
- Set of Steering head bearings
- Clymer Service manual (actual book)
- Passenger footpegs
- Original footpegs and brackets
- Original full exhaust system (exhaust and header)
- Basically all original bits that I replaced with farkles
- There are more bits and pieces I cannot possibly remember now, some include wheel bearings, oil filters, o-rings, 17” & 21"tubes etc.
-      Basic toolkit

Some cosmetic bits that might need attention:
- 2 of the bashplate screw attachments a bit bent. I attach them with thick cable ties now. No damage to frame though.
- The 2 screw attachments for the front headlight fender has broken off. Broke off from being too hasty removing/installing front headlight fender. Just attach with cable ties now.
- Airbox cover on the side is a bit worn and has 3 different types of screws to attach cover. No issue though. Still works fine
- Right lowered footpeg bracket broke long ago. Been welded by Lecap many years back and still holds fine.
- Might have overlook a thing or two

A thread I started when I bought the bike......have not updated it in a very long time.
