Using stainless bolts on an exhaust header pipe?

Hi Guys, is there any disadvantage of using stainless bolts to attach a heat guard to an exhaust header pipe? Reason I'm asking is the old bolts rusted and broke off at the head when I tried to remove them. I'm R300 out of pocket for the engineering place to remove the old stubs and re-tap the holes.  :-\
